Iqra Public School recently kicked off its highly anticipated Summer Camp for senior classes. The camp began on June 1, 2023, and promises an exciting range of activities and opportunities for students to engage in sports, artistic endeavors, and craft activities.
One of the highlights of the camp is the Football Wall and Painting activity, where students will have the opportunity to showcase their creativity and teamwork by painting a vibrant and engaging mural on a designated wall within the school premises. This activity aims to promote a sense of unity and sportsmanship among the participants while nurturing their artistic talents.
In addition to the Football Wall, Painting, the summer camp also offers various craft activities. These activities allow students to explore their artistic skills and express their creativity through hands-on projects. By engaging in craft activities, students have the opportunity to develop their fine motor skills, problem-solving abilities, and imagination.

Today marks the conclusion of the Summer Camp held at our campus, Iqra Public School, specifically designed for our senior students. The camp spanned over a period of 7 days from 1/6/2023 to 7/6/2023 and proved to be a memorable and enriching experience for all participants.
During the Summer Camp, the students engaged in various activities, focusing on skill development and fostering a sense of creativity and teamwork. The boys actively participated in football training sessions, where they learned the nuances of the game, honed their skills, and enjoyed friendly matches. The football sessions provided an opportunity for them to enhance their physical fitness, coordination, and strategic thinking on the field.
On the other hand, the girls were engaged in wall painting and craft activities. They explored their artistic abilities by creating vibrant and visually appealing wall paintings, showcasing their creativity and imagination. Additionally, they took part in craft workshops where they learned different techniques and created unique and intricate craft pieces. These activities allowed them to express themselves artistically and develop their artistic skills.
The Summer Camp for senior students proved to be a resounding success. The participants not only enjoyed their time but also learned valuable lessons in teamwork, discipline, and self-expression. SUMMER CAMP REPORT
We are delighted to share the highlights of the ongoing Summer Camp at Iqra Public School. The students enthusiastically participated in various activities aimed at enhancing their creative writing skills, beautifying their handwriting, and exploring the world of yoga.
Under the guidance of our mentors, the students focused on writing various words creatively, emphasizing the importance of effective communication through written expression. They learned techniques to make their writing more impactful and engaging.
In addition to the writing session, the students also had an invigorating yoga session. They practiced a range of yoga postures to improve flexibility, strength, and mindfulness. The following postures were part of today’s session:

Successful Conclusion of Summer Camp at Iqra Public School
Today 27th May,2023 is marked the last day of the Summer Camp held at our esteemed institution, Iqra Public School. The camp was specifically organized for primary students, providing them with a valuable opportunity to engage in various activities and acquire new skills. The focus of the camp revolved around Yoga and Calligraphy, offering an enriching and enjoyable experience for all participants.
Throughout the duration of the Summer Camp, the primary students actively participated and showed great enthusiasm in learning and practicing Yoga asanas. Under the guidance of experienced instructor Ms. Priya Raghav, they were introduced to a variety of Yoga postures, allowing them to enhance their physical flexibility, mental focus, and overall well-being. The students demonstrated remarkable dedication and commitment, embracing the teachings of Yoga with utmost interest and involvement.
In addition to the Yoga sessions, the students also delved into the art of Calligraphy. They were introduced to the fundamental techniques of beautiful writing and were encouraged to explore their creative potential through various writing styles and patterns. The students honed their fine motor skills and developed a keen eye for detail, producing remarkable pieces of calligraphic art under the guidance of Mr. Iqbal Ahmed.

Summer Camp:
– From May 21st to 28th, a Summer Camp was organized in the Primary Section with activities centered around Yoga and Calligraphy.
– The camp provided a valuable learning experience, promoting physical well-being and enhancing creative writing skills of the students.
Theme-Based Assemblies:
– Multiple theme-based assemblies were conducted by the students to observe significant occasions such as International Labour Day, Red Cross Day, and Al-Quds Day.
– These assemblies featured speeches, poetry presentations, and various activities, leaving a lasting

Silverzone International Olympiad:
– In October 2022, our school hosted the Silverzone International Olympiad in various subjects.
– 32 students participated in Mathematic and 37 in Science, with 7 students receiving the Medal of Excellence in their respective subjects.
Quiz Competition:
– A Quiz Competition on Hand Hygiene and Infection Prevention was organized by the Hospital Infection Society, A.M.U. at the Department of Microbiology JNMC, Aligarh
– Four teams comprising eight students from classes 9th and 10th represented our school and received participation certificates.

– Subject-Based Activities were conducted for different classes.
– Science Activity for class 6th and 7th, Mathematic Activity for class 8th, Social Studies Activity for
class 9th, and a PowerPoint Presentation on ‘Biodiversity and Conservation’ by Ms. Nida Makhdoom for class 10th.
May 13th:
– Class 1st and 2nd took part in a Storytelling Competition.
– Students from classes 3rd to 5th showcased their creativity through a Best out of Waste activity.
– English Handwriting Activity was conducted for classes 6th to 8th, and a Speech Competition was organized for 9th and 10th.
May 6th: – Primary section participated in Origami, a fun activity.
– Students from classes 6th to 8th showcased their creativity through collage making on National, International, and Current Issues.
– Class 9th and 10th exhibited their creative skills in Mathematics and Science.
Internal Circulation April 2023
On April 29th, Handwriting and Article Writing Competitions were held for Classes 1st to 10th, centered around the theme of “International Labour Day.” Additionally, three special assemblies were conducted on different themes, including World Health Day, Eid Celebration, and Earth Day. Students from both the primary and senior wings displayed their public speaking and presentation skills during these theme-based assemblies, incorporating special poetry recitations, speeches, and group songs to make the occasions truly memorable.
The school celebrated the A-3 Day Children Sports Festival on April 27th as part of the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav The festival included a variety of indoor and outdoor games, and a prize distribution ceremony was held to acknowledge the efforts of all participants. Professor Anis ur Rahman Khan, Deputy Director, graced the event as the Chief Guest, along with the presence of Professor Mohammed Muzammil and Mr. Naseem Ahmed Khan, who encouraged and appreciated the students for their incredible performances.
April 15th witnessed several activities under the theme of Eid Celebration. Students from Classes 1st to 10th actively participated in Poster and E-card Making, showcasing the essence of Eid ul Fitr.
Amar Ujala initiated a scholarship assessment program called the Net Ambit Scholarship Test (NAST) for students in classes 9th to 12th. This national-level scholarship test provided a platform for students to showcase their talents and earn recognition for themselves and their school.
A joint online course named “Passport to Earning” (P2E) was organized by the United Nations and UNICEF for students in classes 9th to 12th. Over 50 students from our school participated in the program, with some successfully completing all the levels and receiving appreciation certificates. Additionally, an activity called the “Science Challenge” was conducted on April 8th, 2023, featuring an online quiz on the theme of Science, Environment, and Sustainability. The event was held as part of India’s Presidency of the G20 Forum
These activities provided our students with valuable opportunities for learning, growth, and recognition, contributing to their holistic development. We are proud of their achievements and the dedication of our staff in making these initiatives a success.
An awareness program on the theme of Earth Day, titled “Mission LIFE,” was conducted through an engaging Drawing Competition. Students from Classes 9th and 10th created posters and slogans under the guidance of Art Teachers to emphasize the urgent need for environmental protection and preservation, echoing the vision of our honourable Prime Minister.
In April, Iqra Public School organized a range of Curricular and Co-Curricular activities. Various creative acts took place on Saturdays throughout the month, specifically on April 8th, 15th, and 29th, 2023. On April 8th, an activity focusing on Chart/Poster Making and Slogan Writing was conducted to commemorate World Health Day, with the theme of “Health For All.”

Sir Syed Day
Every year on 17th October, School celebrates this day with great honour great enthusiasm and respect. The special assembly was conducted in which the students performed very well. They presented poem, songs, thoughts, article on Sir Syed Ahmad Khan. The girls presented a very good skit in English on importance of girls education. The students emphasized on the sayings & teachings of Sir Syed Ahmad Khan. They also said they must inculcate in ourself the thoughts of Sir Syed Ahmad Khan.
Urdu Day
Urdu day has traditionally been celebrated at Iqra Public School on the Birth anniversary of remarkable Urdu poet Allama Iqbal. The celebration took place on 9th Nov,22. Students conducted special assembly that consist Ghazal, nazm and speech which highlights the great contribution of Allama Iqbal. The motive of celebrating Urdu day is to enhance the importance of Urdu language and its rich literature among the students which was successfully been achieved.
Independence Day Commemoration 2022
The 76th Independence Day was celebrated today at Iqra Public School, with great fervour, gaiety and feeling of patriotism. Justice Mr. Ifaqat Ali Khan (Retd.) of the Allahabad High Court was invited as the chief guest on the occasion.
The program began with the hoisting of the flag, followed by the National Anthem. The celebration consisted of various cultural programs that began in the school auditorium with the recitation of The Holy Quran. Ms. Lubna Khalique, principal of the school, welcomed the Chief Guest. The bouquet was presented by Professor. Amanullah Khan, President of IEF and Professor. M. Muzammil, Manager of IPS, presented the Memento to the Chief Guest.
The Iqraites performed various solo and group patriotic songs and speeches to the audience. The main attraction was the amazing Qaumi Mushaira, which stole the hearts of everyone present. They proudly displayed their sincere love for the nation. The presence of illustrious dignitaries Professor Md. Khalid Azam, Professor Saud Alam Qasmi, Professor Merajuddin, Professor Adeeb Alam Khan and Mr.Naseem Ahmad Khan made the program a great success. They had all the praise for the boys and girls and gave them a lot of encouragement for their amazing performances.
The chief guest in his speech emphasized the need for hard work and motivation. He told the students that you have to get out of your comfort zone to achieve success and asked them to face all the challenges of life without fear. The function concluded with the vote of thanks presented by the Head mistress, Ms. Talat Ara. Sweets were distributed to all those present. The function came to an end with the planting of Saraca asoca (Ashoka) by the chief guest, Justice Mr. Ifaqat Ali Khan.
Republic Day 26 Jan 2023
74th Republic Day was celebrated in Iqra Public School. The entire program was held with great vigour & feeling of oneness.
Prof. Nisar Ahmad Khan former Dean- Faculty of Social Science, AMU Aligarh, was invited as the Chief Guest by the dignitaries of Iqra Educational Foundation and School Management Committee.
The program began with the Guard of Honor & Flag Hoisting followed by our National Anthem. The main celebration constituted several acts, initiated with the Recitation of Quran. A phenomenal Welcome Speech was delivered by the principal ‘Ms. Lubna Khalique’. For the felicitation of the Chief Guest, the bouquet was presented by Prof. Amanullah Khan , President IEF and the memento was bestowed by Prof. Adeeb Alam Khan, Former Manager, Iqra Public School.
Furthermore, the program proceeded with spectacular March Past, Patriotic Songs, English & Urdu Speeches & astounding Environmental Awareness Act, presented by Iqraites . They displayed their sincere love for the nation with pride. On this occasion, Prof. Md. Khalid Azam, Prof. Saud Alam Qasmi, Prof. Merajuddin, Prof. Md.Muzammil, Prof Abid Ali Khan and Mr. Naseem Ahmad Khan, also initiated their presence to make this program a success & encourages the students immensely for their incredible performances.
The celebration was carried forward with the motivational speech of the esteemed Chief Guest. He stressed on introspection & self belief to have a successful future ahead. It got concluded with the Vote Of Thanks presented by the Head Mistress Ms. Talat Ara. Sweets were distributed to one & all before departure.
October 1st, 2022, Saturday
A Farewell Party was organized in Iqra Public School, for a retiring ideal of our Primary Section Ms. Rizwana Hafeez. She had given incredible 30 years of her life to our institution. She was not only a dedicated teacher but also a great facilitator.
The program was held in the school auditorium. It began with the recitation of Quran, followed by an appreciative message by the Principal, Ms. Lubna Khalique. Furthermore, Mr.Naseem Ahmad & manager Prof. M. Muzammil shared their heartfelt gratitude for our retiring epitome. A melodious ghazal was presented by Ms. Nigar Afshan followed by a mellifluous song by Ms Ishrat in order to make this day a memorable one. On this occasion, Prof. Amanullah Khan, Prof. Mukhtar Ahmad and Prof. Khalid Azam also initiated their valuable presence to make this program a success.
The celebration was carried forward with the presentation of gifts & memento to Ms. Rizwana, bestowed by the members of management committee & the teaching faculty. It got concluded with the emotional experience sharing by our Retiring Gem & Vote of Thanks by the Head Mistress Ms. Talat Ara. At last everyone joined the appetizing lunch before departure.
Annual Sports Day 2022
If there is one field of life which teaches us the most valuable lessons about perseverance, patience infact what constitutes a perfect character, it is sports.
Thus, on the 29th of November, 2022, Iqra Public School organized the Annual Sports Day 2022, for the year 2022-23. After a hiatus of two years due to the lingering fear of the COVID-19 pandemic, the school organized one of its most signature event. The Annual Sports Day embodies the zeal, talents and spirit of sportsmanship of Iqraites, encouraging them to be persistent and to refine their talents, achieving the greatest of the heights.
The most anticipated event of the year commenced with the arrival of the highly distinguished chief guest, Professor Shahid Ali Siddiqui along with all the members of Iqra Educational Foundation and members of School Management Committee. A special opening prayer was offered by Mohd Zain Alam of XI along with its suitable translation by Fatima Khan of X. Chief guest was then felicitated with badges, bouquets and memento as to honour them.
The Sports programme began with the release of pigeons and balloons by the chief guest which symbolises peace and harmony. The chief guest then declared the meet open which was followed by the torch light ceremony by enlightening the light which ignited the passion of sporting spirit ۔Principal Iqra Schooladdressed the students with a welcome speech with her inspiring words.
The Ceremony commenced with the wonderful March Past where the parade is performed by all the four houses and led by their house captains. The Chief Guest takes the salute of the impressive march past of the students. This was followed by the Oath taking Ceremony. Beautiful welcome song was presented by the little angels of the primary section.
The Chief guest of the event was addressed the students by recalling his memories and Thanked whole Iqra family for organising this event and also focused about the importance of sports in a child’s life.
Students of Grades VI to VIII performed YOGA asanas under the guidance of their master Mohd Kaif. Thereafter, there were some fun races for Grades I to V. These little shining stars also presented a Callisthenic drill, enchanting everyone with their rhythmical movements. There were some more races like Banana Eating Race,100m Hurdle Race, Cardboard Race 4x100m Relay Race, Pot Balancing Race, for the students of all grades, displaying their vigour and athletic talents.
The tug of war is an event which demands brute strength, sheer endurance and an excellent team coordination ,was definitely the most anticipated event of the day. The event held between the Azad House and Tagore House enraptured the audience as the level of excitement drastically went up pull after all. Ultimately ,the Tagore House won the competition.
The Best Player from Primary section was Maryam whereas from senior girls we had Ayesha Bano declared as the best player. From the boys section we had Zuhaib, Ayan Ali and Mohd Kaif as best player from Primary, Junior and Senior sections respectively.
The Best house from both the sections was declared to be the green house.
The Vote Of Thanks was proposed by HeadMistress Ms Talat Ara in which she addressed the gathering with her thankful words.
