Report on Career and Guidance Program
Iqra Public School, in collaboration with ACN College, organized a Career and Guidance Program for Class 12 students. The session began with a welcome speech by the Principal, Ms. Fatima Iram Ma’am, who advised students on time management, solving sample papers, board exam preparation, and reducing screen time.
Representatives from Aligarh College of Education &ACEM discussed various courses and career options available after Class 12. Question& Answer session was also held, allowing students to clear their doubts. The program concluded with the distribution of pens and diaries among students.
The session was informative and motivating, helping students plan their future more effectively.

IQRA PUBLIC SCHOOL CELEBRATED ITS ANNUAL FUNCTION 2025

Iqra Public School celebrated its Annual Function 2025 with elegance, energy, and heartfelt joy. The evening began in the name of Allah with a soulful Quranic recitation, setting a serene and meaningful tone.

The programme beautifully unfolded the Canvas of Life through a vibrant blend of cultural expressions and awareness-based presentations, including a powerful tableau and thoughtful reflections on mental health, leaving the audience inspired and reflective.

The occasion was further enriched by the gracious presence and motivating words of the Honourable Mayor, Mr. Prashant Singhal, and DIOS Dr. Pooran Singh, who addressed the gathering and encouraged the students.

Prize distribution ceremony celebrated achievement and effort, adding sparkle to the evening. The event concluded on a high note of pride, gratitude, and happiness, leaving behind smiles, applause, and beautiful memories.

Inter School Football Tournament – Final Day Report

The three-day Inter School Football Tournament organized by Iqra Public School, Aligarh concluded today with great enthusiasm, discipline, and remarkable participation from all competing schools.

The final day began with the gracious arrival of the esteemed guests. The school warmly welcomed the Chief Guest, Prof. Brij Bhushan Singh (Department of Physical Education, AMU), by presenting him with a bouquet and a memento.

Further, mementos were presented to Mr. Shaukat (Sports Officer) and Mr. Mayank

Pathak (ASP, Aligarh) by Prof. Amanullah Khan (President), Mr. Naseem Ahmad Khan (Manager), and Ms. Fatima Iram (Principal) on behalf of the school, honouring their esteemed presence and support.

 The Chief Guest, Prof. Brij Bhushan Singh, addressed the gathering with inspiring words, highlighting the value of sports in building character, discipline, and confidence among students. He praised the school’s efforts in promoting physical education and providing young players with a platform to showcase their abilities.

 ASP Mr. Mayank Pathak also addressed the audience, commending the students for their exceptional discipline and teamwork. He encouraged them to continue participating in sports and to uphold the spirit of fair play in every field of life.

 The final match of the tournament was played between MU College, Aligarh and Saiyyid Hamid Senior Secondary School (Boys). The match kept the audience on edge with its intense pace and impressive performance by both sides.

Saiyyid Hamid Senior Secondary School (Boys) emerged as the Winner of the Inter School Football Tournament 2025.

MU College, Aligarh was declared the Runner-Up.

 Following the result announcement, championship trophies, medals, and certificates were awarded to the winning and runner-up teams. Special mementos were also presented to the referees for their fair, consistent, and dedicated officiation throughout the tournament.  

The school extended heartfelt appreciation to the sports teachers, Dr. Mohammad Imran and Ms. Ishrat Jahaan, along with Ms. Ishrat Parveen and Mr. Shamshaad Nisaar for their dedication and hard work in organizing the tournament.

The programme was smoothly and elegantly anchored by Ms. Asiya, Ms. Rakshanda, and the student anchors, whose clarity and coordination added professionalism and grace to the entire event.

The three-day tournament concluded on a memorable note, celebrating sportsmanship, teamwork, and excellence. The event successfully fostered a competitive spirit while strengthening the bond among participating schools.

Three-Day Inter School Football Tournament Organised by Iqra Public School, Aligarh

A grand inauguration ceremony marked the beginning of the much-awaited Three-Day Inter School Football Tournament at Iqra Public School, Aligarh. The event was graced by the presence of Mr. Rakesh Singh (Basic Shiksha Adhikari) as the Guest of Honour and Mr. Sunil Dutt Mudgal (Jawan Block Education Officer) as the Special Guest.

In his inspiring address, Mr. Rakesh Singh emphasized that sports are as vital as academics in shaping a student’s overall personality. He encouraged students to participate more actively in outdoor games rather than spending excessive time on mobile phones, describing it as a step toward a healthier and more disciplined lifestyle.

The School’s President, Prof. Amanullah Khan, Secretary, Prof. M. Khalid Azam, and Manager, Mr. Naseem Ahmad Khan presented mementoes to the distinguished guests as a token of appreciation. Principal Ms. Fatima Iram warmly welcomed all the dignitaries and applauded the sincere efforts of the sports teachers, Dr. Mohammad Imran and Ms. Ishrat Jahaan, along with Ms. Ishrat Parveen and Mr. Shamshaad Nisaar for their dedication and hard work in organizing the tournament.

Constitution Day Celebration at Iqra Public School

Honouring the Spirit of the Indian Constitution

Iqra Public School celebrated Constitution Day on 26th November 2025 during the morning assembly with great enthusiasm. The programme began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatiha by Insha of Class IX, followed by its translation presented by Almas.

Zoya shared the Thought of the Day, after which Zunaira recited a Hadees, adding a meaningful and reflective touch to the event.

An insightful speech on the importance of Constitution Day was delivered by Ms. Ambreen, helping students understand the values and principles enshrined in the Indian Constitution. The Constitution Day Pledge was then led by Nama of Class IX.

The ceremony concluded with the National Anthem, filling the atmosphere with patriotism and unity.

National Cyber Security Awareness

In observance of National Cyber Security Awareness Month (NCSAM), Iqra Public School celebrated the theme “Cyber Jagrit Bharat” through an engaging blend of English Writing and Cyber Safety Awareness Activities. The day radiated creativity, learning, and digital consciousness across all grades.

         Inter-School Islamic Quiz Competition 

 An Inter-School Islamic Quiz Competition was organized in Iqra Public school on 07.11.2025,witnessing enthusiastic participation from several reputed schools . The event aimed to promote a deeper understanding of Islamic teachings, moral values, and historical knowledge among students while fostering unity, confidence, and a healthy spirit of competition .
The competition was conducted in three categories — Classes 3–5, 6–8, and 9–12 
. This quiz was based on a questionnaire where participants answered a variety of questions related to the Holy Quran, the lives and teachings of the Prophets ﷺ, Islamic history, and general awareness about Islamic culture. The students displayed excellent knowledge, confidence, and enthusiasm throughout the event 💫. As a gesture of appreciation, food packets were distributed to all participants, and books on Seerat-un-Nabi (ﷺ) 
📖 were given to encourage them to learn more about the life and teachings of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.

Iqra Public School celebrated Sir Syed Day 2025 with great enthusiasm and respect to honour the birth anniversary of Sir Syed Ahmad Khan, the great reformer and founder of Aligarh Muslim University.

Students beautifully portrayed Sir Syed Ahmad Khan and his fellow companions, highlighting their efforts to promote education and modern thinking among Muslims. The presentation was informative and inspiring, reflecting Sir Syed’s vision of progress through knowledge.

The celebration concluded with the melodious singing of the AMU Tarana, filling the atmosphere with pride and admiration for Sir Syed Ahmad Khan’s remarkable contributions to society and education.

Viksit Bharat Buildathon

he Viksit Bharat Buildathon 2025 live streaming session was played today, October 13, 2025, and has gone live across schools in India, including Iqra Public School. This nationwide event is engaging around 1 crore students from classes 6-12, focusing on four key themes: Atmanirbhar Bharat, Swadeshi, Vocal for Local, and Samriddh Bharat.

Over 3 lakh schools are participating, showcasing innovative ideas and prototypes to shape a self-reliant and prosperous India. The event was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and features a Rs 1 crore award pool, with winners to be announced in January 2026.

A Tree in the Name of Mother

“Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” is a beautiful initiative that encourages people to plant a tree in honor of their mothers. Just as a mother gives us life, care, and love, a tree provides us with oxygen, shade, and supports the environment. Planting a tree in our mother’s name is a meaningful way to show gratitude while also helping to protect nature. This simple act not only honors our mothers but also raises awareness about the importance of trees and the need for a greener, healthier planet.

AI & Robotics Workshop

A teacher one day workshop was successfully conducted on 11th September 2025, bringing together 55 teachers from 13 schools across Aligarh district, along with the participation of 3 school owners.
The workshop was organized with the valuable support of Mr. Harsh Vardhan Chaudhary and Mr. Suyash Jaiswal, both representing STEMROBO Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Noida. Their contribution played a key role in ensuring the success of the event.
The session aimed at enhancing teachers knowledge and exposure to innovative teaching practices, fostering collaboration among schools and encouraging the integration of technology-driven learning approaches.
The workshop concluded on a positive note, with participants expressing appreciation for the initiative and the resource persons efforts.

Application of AI in the Teaching-Learning Process

Iqra Public School organized a workshop on “Application of AI in the Teaching-Learning Process” conducted by Prof. M. M. Sufiyan Beg, a distinguished academician and researcher. Prof. Beg highlighted that AI is a means to an end and stressed the need for a proper balance between man and machine. He explained how AI can make classrooms more effective, interactive, and personalized, with applications across various fields. The insightful session encouraged us to integrate AI tools to enhance student learning, reduce teacher workload, and promote innovative teaching practices.

Aligarh, 15 August 2025: With hearts brimming with pride, Iqra Public School celebrated the 79th Independence Day in a vibrant display of patriotism. The tricolour soared high as Chief Guest Prof. M. Salim Beg and Principal Ms. Ishrat Parveen led the flag hoisting. The morning unfolded with soulful Quran recitation, stirring speeches, cultural performances, and a moving Quit India Movement skit. Academic achievers of Classes X and XII were honoured, and the day concluded with heartfelt tributes to the nation’s heroes and the timeless glory of the tricolour.

Report on the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ Campaign 2025

The Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, held under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, was observed in our school from 2nd to 15th August 2025 in three distinct phases, with the aim of inspiring students to hoist the National Flag at their homes and cultivate a deeper emotional bond with the Tiranga.

Phase I (2nd–8th Aug): The school hosted a series of creative and patriotic activities, including Tiranga-themed decorations, rangoli competitions, rakhi-making for soldiers, letter-writing to armed forces and police personnel, participation in the MyGov Tiranga Quiz, and the display of Ministry of Culture exhibitions. Students also registered as campaign volunteers to spread awareness in their communities.

Phase II (9th–12th Aug): Vibrant Tiranga rallies were organised, with students marching proudly while carrying the National Flag and long tricoloured fabrics in and around the school.

Phase III (13th–15th Aug): Celebrations concluded with a dignified flag-hoisting ceremony, the singing of the National Anthem, and active participation in the Selfie with Tiranga initiative on the official campaign portal.

The campaign witnessed wholehearted participation from students and staff, strengthening their sense of patriotism, respect for the Flag Code of India, and unity of spirit. All activities and photographs were duly submitted on the designated portal by

Raksha Bandhan

Iqra Public School came alive with festive spirit during a special assembly organised to celebrate Raksha Bandhan. The programme featured a variety of engaging activities, including heartfelt poem recitations, inspiring short stories, and thought-provoking speeches, all beautifully centred on the theme of sibling love and bonding.

Students added a personal and emotional touch by presenting soulful couplets that touched everyone’s hearts. The event was filled with joy, warmth, and togetherness, truly capturing the essence of this cherished festival.

Iqra Public School was established in 1983 under the aegis of Iqra Educational Foundation.
